Child Safety Standards
Effective 14 October 2026 · Applies to the Rejoice Matrimony app and rejoicematrimony.com
1. Our commitment
Rejoice Matrimony has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Rejoice Matrimony is a matrimony service for adults aged 18 and over who are seeking marriage. Children are not allowed to use it in any way.
2. What is not allowed
- Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child — images, video, text, links or drawings — including child sexual abuse material.
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes, or arranging to meet a minor.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or offering, requesting or arranging a child marriage or any sexual contact with a minor.
- Creating a profile for, or on behalf of, anyone under 18 — including by parents or relatives — or lying about age.
- Sharing any information that could identify or locate a child who is a victim of abuse.
3. How we prevent it
- Age requirement: every member must give a date of birth showing they are at least 18; younger people cannot register.
- Live face verification: every member completes a live face check matched to their profile photo before anyone can see them.
- Photo moderation: profile photos are reviewed by our team before other members can see them.
- Blocking and reporting are available on every profile, in the app and on the website.
- Accounts that break these standards are banned and cannot register again with the same mobile number.
4. How to report a concern
- In the app or on the website: open the profile, tap Report and choose “Child safety concern / under 18”. These reports go to the top of our review queue.
- By email: write to our child safety contact at grievance@rejoicematrimony.com. Include the profile ID (e.g. RJM10024) if you have it. Please do not attach or forward abusive images.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 112 or Childline India on 1098. You can also report online at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, cybercrime.gov.in (helpline 1930).
5. What we do when we receive a report
- We review child safety reports as our highest priority, and within 24 hours.
- We immediately hide or remove the content and suspend the account involved while we investigate.
- Where we have actual knowledge of child sexual abuse material or abuse, we remove it, permanently ban the accounts involved, preserve the evidence securely, and report it to the authorities as required by law — in India under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and the police, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where appropriate.
- We cooperate fully with law-enforcement requests.
6. Child safety point of contact
Our designated child safety contact can speak to our CSAE prevention practices and compliance:

- Email: grievance@rejoicematrimony.com
